Amazing Breakfast and Shuttle Service

Hotel Il Nido provided a beautiful, spacious room for our stay of three nights. I was happy with the view of Mt. Vesuvius from our balcony. I also found the free shuttle service a big plus (it saved a lot of walking).
I thought the rooms were a bit small. the location was scenic and quiet.

I appreciated the convenient free shuttle service to town. The breakfast offered great sweet treats and healthy choices. The orange juice from the machine tasted sweet. The staff were friendly, professional, and gave a homely feeling.

A free courtesy bus runs regularly throughout the day. This made getting into the town center quick. There is a small swimming pool available, alongside a jacuzzi on the sun terrace . These areas are well kept. Free parking is also available at the hotel, a definite plus.

The balcony view included Mount Vesuvius. It was awesome. The owner was personable and helpful with tour plans. We ate at the hotel every night to relax on the terrace. The cuisine was fabulous. The breakfast buffet included everything one could imagine. I needed nothing more.
I thought the free shuttle bus to the city was exclusive to this place. On arrival, I learned the shuttle was shared among multiple hotels. There was a big crowd every time I waited for the shuttle back to the hotel. There was no queue system. I saw other people not get on and needing taxis. Taxis are very expensive here.
